Man pleaded not   guilty to Willful damages to property

Ebrima Kora has pleaded not guilty to willful damages to property on Wednesday at the Kanifing Magistrate court presided over by Magistrate FB Jallow.

Kora is accused of willfully and unlawfully property of one Larry Nwachuwu a resident of Fajara.

When the charge sheet was read to him he pleaded not guilty to the offence and he was granted a bail in the sum of D15, 000 with one Gambia surety who shall sworn to affidavit and also surrender his or her biometric ID card to the court register.

He is charged with a single count, willful damages to property contrary to section 312 (1) of the Criminal Code Cap 10:01 volume iii laws of the Gambia 2009.

The  particular of offence read that  Ebrima Kora on or about the 2nd day of August  2021 ,at Fajara in the Kanifing Municipality of the Republic of The Gambia ,he (Ebrima Kora )willfully and unlawfully damaged the  front door window glass of a motor Vehicle with registration number BJL 1667K valued at D13,000.00(Thirteen thousand  dalasi ) being  the property  of one Larry Nwachuwu ,thereby committed an offence.

The case is adjourned until the 12th of August .Sergeant 3577 Kebbeh represented for the IGP.
