TAF Aims To Create 25m Jobs In Africa

By Adama Makasuba

TAF Global Africa has revealed plans to create 25 million jobs in Africa as the company plans to build one million homes in sub-Saharan Africa by 2040.

Speaking to The Voice exclusively, Mustapha Njie, founder and boss of the company said: “Let me work out the labour that’s involved in developing a million homes, is going to create 25 million jobs because in every house you will need 25 workforces to deliver these houses. That’s 25 million jobs that are going to be created, and that’s why we are very passionate in training.”

“We address all our weaknesses because when you want to build one million homes you need to address your weaknesses, you strengthen then you capitalise on them. And of the things you need to have in place in order to archive this is human labour,” he added.

Meanwhile, he advised Gambians to desist from anything that could cause violence, as the country gears up for December presidential poll.

“We are going to see a campaign starting, please let it be non-violence. I would advise them also to disassociate themselves with tribe, with religion, with creed. Let them focus on the manifestos presented by the different [political] parties.

“They are the judges; the onus is on them to cast their votes and that’s their choice. So, whatever we want to see in this country, let no single ant be hurt or be killed during this period of campaigning as we lead in the election on 4th December 2021,” he said.

Meanwhile, he called on Gambians particularly youths to get registered in order to exercise citizenship rights which he said will determine their future and urged them to disassociate themselves from violence and focus on the manifestos of the various political parties in the country.

“Well in the political cycle they should be engaged, it’s their lives. We are in the period of registering; I would urge every qualified Gambian to go out there and get registered because that card is their future,” he added.
