TMT FC, Koita FC, Darboes FC and Red Scorpion FC have qualified for the semi-finals of the 2026 FF Women’s Cup following hard-fought quarter-final victories played across four venues on Tuesday.
TMT FC came from behind to defeat Jeshwang United 2-1 at the Yundum Mini Stadium.
Jeshwang United took an early lead through Maria Prierra in the ninth minute, but TMT FC responded strongly after the break. Fatou Sonko levelled the scores from the penalty spot in the 48th minute before netting the winner nine minutes later to complete her brace and send her side into the last four.
At the Bakau Mini Stadium, Koita FC advanced after defeating Berewuleng FC 4-3 on penalties following a goalless draw in regulation time.
Neither side was able to break the deadlock during normal time, forcing the match into a penalty shootout where Koita FC emerged victorious.
Darboes FC also secured a semi-final berth after overcoming Gambia Armed Forces 3-1 on penalties at the Brusubi Mini Stadium.
The two sides were locked in a scoreless draw at the end of regulation time before Darboes FC displayed greater composure from the penalty spot to progress.
In another closely contested encounter at the Brikama Mini Stadium, Red Scorpion FC defeated Police FC 3-2 on penalties after the teams failed to score during normal time.
The victory completed the semi-final line-up, with TMT FC, Koita FC, Darboes FC and Red Scorpion FC remaining in contention for the 2026 FF Women’s Cup title.
