Sisawo Describes Kassa Jatta’s Allegations As Fabrications

Following Dudu Kassa Jatta’s remark against Halifa Sallah, lawmaker for Serekunda, accusing him as some one who failed the Barrow led coalition government as per carried in our last Monday publication, seems to caused and sparks anger in some people, especially supporters of the Serekunda NAM.

The second person in raw to have reacted to this particular publication is one Mr Foday Sisawo, a member of the inter-party committee, who described allegations made by Dudu Kassa Jatta as not only fabrications, but also misleading and misinformation.

Mr Sisawo made this comment in an interview with The Voice Newspaper over the weekend. He did not hesitate to describe Dudu Kassa Jatta’s allegations against the Serekunda lawmaker as mere fabrication and misinformation.

“Dudu Kassa Jatta’s comment against Sallah was a mere fabrication and misinformation. He doesn’t get any clue of those appointments he was talking about. Sallah never refused any appointment.  He never refused any appointment during the formation of the coalition and even after the national assembly election. Sallah was never given any position, much more rejected it. It has never happened,” he said.

In what seems to in his angry tone, Mr Sisawo scolded and described Dudu Kassa Jatta as some one trying to secure a job from the government or just want the nation to hear his voice. He therefore seized the opportunity and warned him (Kassa Jatta) to maintain silence about the 3 year coalition agreement, adding Jatta doesn’t know anything about it.

According to the Inter-party committee member, he believes that Dudu Kassa Jatta got it all wrong; he really got it all wrong. Dudu Kassa Jatta doesn’t have the clue; he has no clue as to how the coalition was organized and how they came to conclusion about the 3 year transitional government and other issues he was mentioning or mentioned in the cited article.

He further branded Mr. Jatta as a ‘rolling stone that never gathered water, saying he was with the UDP and then cross carpeted to GDC, and now he is back to UDP.

However, he urged Gambians to be thinking differently, as he denounced what he called misinforming people, saying let’s speak the truth and stop defending each other unjustly.
