Matchweek Eight of the National Better Rate Football Association (NBRFA) Third Division League produced closely contested fixtures across the Western and Eastern Zones on Saturday.
In the Western Zone at Essau Football Field, Spurs Youths and Jambarr FC drew 1–1. Bunja Nyan put Jambarr FC ahead in the 42nd minute before Alagie Ceesay equalised for Spurs Youths in stoppage time (90+2) to secure a late point.
At Kuntaya Football Field, Jokadou United and Real de Bakindik also shared the points in a 1–1 draw. Landing Jammeh gave the visitors the lead in the 68th minute, before Illiassa Sanyang restored parity two minutes later.
In the Eastern Zone at Farafenni Mini Stadium, Rockland United recorded a 2–0 away win over Policeline FC. Sarjo Dibba opened the scoring in the 43rd minute, while Ousman Sidibeh sealed the victory in the 70th minute.
The results leave teams continuing their push for improved positions in the league standings.
