The government of the Gambia through the Government Spokesperson Ebrima G Sankareh announced the unveiling of the Presidential Task Force Report on the Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) outbreak.
The press briefing on the regrettable AKI outbreak that led to the death of at least seventy-three (73) children who allegedly consumed syrups believed to be imported from India, will be led by the Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Lamin Samatehtoday, Friday 21 July 2023, by 3:00 pm at the Health Ministry´s conference hall at the quadrangle in Banjul.
The press briefing will be chaired by the government spokesperson, Mr, Ebrima G Sankareh, and the press briefing will be graced by Cabinet Ministers, Gambia Government Officials, and the Victims’ family.
