Abdoulie Joof scored twice as Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) defeated Marimoo Pakfood FC 3-1 at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in the GFF Men’s Division Two League.
The brace took Joof’s tally to 17 goals for the 2025/26 season, strengthening his position as the league’s leading scorer.
The Siffoe-born striker has been in impressive form throughout the campaign, playing a key role in GAF’s push for success. His latest goals helped secure all three points for his side and further enhanced his chances of finishing the season as the division’s top scorer.
Joof’s goalscoring exploits follow an outstanding 2024/25 season in which he won the Golden Boot in the GFF Men’s Division One League after scoring 12 goals.
The forward has already surpassed that tally this season with several matches remaining and remains one of the most consistent performers in Gambian football.
His ability to score crucial goals has been central to GAF’s campaign, with the striker regularly delivering decisive performances for the military side.
With the season entering its final stages, Joof is on course to claim a second consecutive Golden Boot award if he maintains his current scoring form.
