Gambian international winger Yusupha Njie has scored a back-to-back goal for his Portuguese side Boavista during their 2-1 home win against Santa Clara in the week-two fixture of the Primeira Liga played on Sunday.
The 28-year-old scored his side’s opening goal in the 62nd minute of the second half after cancelling out Rildo’s opener for Santa Clara.
The Banjul-born player also scored the only goal and guided Boavista to victory during their opening Primeira Liga game against Portimonense last weekend.
Yusupha who is the son of the late Gambian legendary Biri Biri, now scored in all the Boavista’s fixtures of the new season.
He now helped Boavista to move to 3rd position with 6 points in two matches, leveling with Porto, Benfica and Vitoria Guimaraes.
