Gambian international wrestler, Bebe Kharangne of Club Jeff Jel has assured his fans of a victory against Yamou Sarr 2 of Senegal.

The duo face-off for the final time on Sunday evening on the Senegalese Walf TV, ahead of their much anticipated bout slated for Sunday 14 August 2022, at Arena National in Dakar, Senegal organized by Jam Promotion.

In what was a heated exchange of words, Bebe Kharangne promised to defeat his Senegalese counterpart in Sunday’s bout.

“I am ready in all aspects both physically and mentally. I’m more powerful and skillful than you,” Kharangne told Sarr who described the Gambian as a ‘talkative’ as he also expressed confidence of defeating the Gambian wrestler on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Daru Bussumbala-based wrestler further appealed to Gambians to support his young fans club who wish to travel to Dakar to support him.

“I’m calling on the government, the Minister (Bakary Badjie) and the entire Gambians to help my fans to come over, because I need their support behind me on Sunday. I’m ready and Insha’Allah I will defeat Yamou Sarr,” he assured.

Members of his fans club have since the announcement of the bout last month, embarked on an intensive Media campaign to raise funds to facilitate their traveling to support their wrestler but they are yet to receive even a quarter of their estimated budget according to Alagie Basiru Mbye, the Club Jeff Jel Manager.

Mr. Mbye added that Bebe Kharangne needs the support of all Gambians, because he is a Gambian and will be representing the Gambia away
