Prisons registers sixth win, Kintehs held in Women’s 2 tier league

Prisons FC has registered their sixth win of the season, while Kintehs FC held in a draw during the week-13 fixtures of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Women’s Second Division League played on Sunday.

Prisons FC beat Greater Tomorrow 1-0 during the earlier game played at Kiti football field.

Prisons FC who earned their sixth victories of the season continued with their search at the top of the standings, while Greater Tomorrow suffered their fifth defeat of the season.

Prisons FC overall collected six wins, two draws and four defeats after 12 matches, while the West Coast region-based team, Greater Tomorrow overall collected four victories, three draws and five losses after 12 games.

The victory moved Prisons FC to 4 position with 20 points, while Greater Tomorrow occupied 6th position with 15 points.

Elsewhere, Kintehs played a 3-3 draw against Raptim FC in the late encounter at Kiti.

Kintehs FC now recorded their sixth draws of the league, while the Talllinding-based team Raptim FC registered their seventh draw of the season.

Kintehs FC overall collected three wins, six draws and three defeats after 12 matches, while Raptim FC overall recorded two wins, seven draws and three defeats after 12 matches.

The draw sent Kintehs FC to 7th position with 15 points, two points ahead of Raptim FC who occupied 8th position with 13 points.
