Newly promoted side, Kanifing East has recorded their seventh victory of the season after defeating B4U Kiang West 1-0 during their week-21 fixture played at the Lives Your Dreams Sports Complex in Basori.
The Kaingers side, B4U, who were having a good run, now suffered their seventh defeat of the season.
The Eastern Boy, Kanifing, overall collected seven victories, ten draws and four defeats, while B4U Kiang West overall registered ten wins, four draws and seven defeats after 21 matches each.
The victory moved Kanifing East to 9th position with 31 points, leveling with Jarra West, while the defeat dropped B4U Kiang West to 5th position with 34 points.
Elsewhere, Immigration FC and Bombada FC both played a barren goalless draw during their week-21 match played at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.
The Immigration side has now conceded their sixth draw of the season, while the Brikama-based team, Bombada also earned their fourth draw of the league.
Immigration FC overall recorded nine wins, six draws and six defeats, while Bombada FC overall registered eleven wins, four draws and six defeats after 21 games.
The result moved Bombada FC to 2nd position in the table with 37 points, while Immigration FC occupied 7th position with 33 points, leveling with Tallinding United and Gunjur United respectively.
At the time of going to press yesterday, on Thursday, Young Africans were playing against Medical at the Lives Your Dreams Sports Complex in Basori and Waterside were also battling it out with Dibba Oil at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.
