Unselected NPP aspirants urged to unite with selected ones

Fabu Sanneh of National People’s Party has appealed to the party’s unselected national assembly aspirants to join the selected ones in support of President Adama Barrow and the nation’s development.

In a video shared by Barrow Media Empowerment, Mr Sanneh told a group of people dressed in Barrow’s party colour that the unselected aspirants should know that the selected aspirants are not better than them and that no one blocked their selection.

He appealed to all the unselected aspirants to join the selected ones in support of President Barrow and his government and national development, adding “everybody is destined with his or her lucks.”

“Those who were not selected don’t get angry and don’t believe that you were denied selection. Therefore, let’s unite as one people and support President Adama Barrow and National People’s Party and our country,” he told the group.

However, he added: “The campaign is next imminent and we should know what we say and we should know what we discuss with people who are angry. Second advice is let no one be like a wolf in sheep clothing. You are in our midst doing things with us and at night you go out to destroy us.”

“Let’s unite and empower truth and live by the truth because if you don’t live by the truth, you will suffer. What is happening and what is said and the meetings being held, we are aware of all,” he stated.

He thanked the people of Lower River Region and other regions for their unflinching support to President Barrow and the whole Gambia.
