Tallinding Utd bounces back, Immigration suffered another defeat

Tallinding United has bounced back while Immigration FC suffered another loss in The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) week-7 fixtures played over the weekend.

Tallinding United seems to recover from their recent setbacks after defeating Jarra West 2-0 in their week-7 fixture played at the Late Ousman Saho football field in Old Yundum on Friday.

The Buffer Zone boys now collected their fourth win of the season, while Jarra West also suffered their fourth defeats of the tournament.

Tallinding United now collected four wins, two draws and suffered one defeat, while Jarra West recorded two wins, one draw and suffered four defeats after seven games.

Jarra West now dropped 14th position with 7 points, leveled with Kanifing East and Red Hawks, while Tallinding United moved to 3rd position with 14 points leveled with BK Milan.

Elsewhere, Immigration FC suffered their second loss of the league after being defeated 3-1 by Greater Tomorrow in a game played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Thursday.

West Coast Region boys, Greater Tomorrow have now collected their three victories.

Immigration FC who started very brightly in their first three games now seems to be dropping in their performances.

Greater Tomorrow now earns three wins, suffered four defeats and are yet to draw, while Immigration now collected four wins, suffered two defeats and one draw after seven games.

Immigration sit 4th position with 13 points, while Greater Tomorrow occupy 10th position with 9 points.

Young Africans also defeated Dibba Oil 1-0 in a game played at the Late Ousman Saho field in Old Yundum on Thursday.

Banjul-based team, Young Africans now collected their third win of the competition, while Lower River Region side, Dibba Oil suffered their second loss of the season.

Both Dibba Oil and Young Africans share the same number of points (11) after both collected three wins, two draws and suffered two defeats after seven games.

Dibba Oil led on goal difference to sit 6th position while Young Africans occupied 8th position.

Latrikunda United won B4U Kiang West 1-0 in the third game on Thursday played at the Soma mini-stadium.

Struggling Latrikunda United now collected their second win of the season, while the Kiangkers now suffered their third defeat after seven games.

B4U Kiang West overall collected three wins, one draw and suffered three defeats, while Latrikunda United still continued their struggles after collecting two wins, suffered five defeats and zero draw after seven games.

The Latrikunda Sabiji-based team still sits at the bottom of the table (17th) position with 6 points, while the Kiangkers occupy 9th position with 10 points.

Meanwhile, in the earlier GFF 2nd Division League week-seven games played last week saw Bombada defeated 1-0 by Red Hawks; Gunjur United drew 1-1 with Jam City and Wagadu also won Medical 2-0.
