A political vanguard, Amadou Jallow, has called for unity among all political parties across the country.

Amadou Jallow who was speaking to members of press in Tujereng last Thursday said political parties should foster unity among themselves and be law abiding, as there is no one above the law.

Without stress, Mr Jallow said interested people are free to support any Political party of their choice but that also should go with respect and maximum maturity without disturbing other militants.

He therefore urged political leaders to stop using incendiary remarks, which is now order of the day in all political arenas of the country.  “Youth should be law abiding and understand that we are one people govern by the same constitution,” he advised.

Mr Jallow noted that aims and objectives of all registered political parties is to lead the country with one common goal – to develop the country and maintain peace and stability.

“The security sector reform (SSR) could have been government’s number one priority by implement, maintaining peace and security in the country. And our security forces should be well equipped and empowered in order for them to facilitate their functions and duties to protect lives and properties,” he said.

More so, the presidential adviser should give better advice to the president because “it’s always disheartening to see individuals advising the president wrongly based on their personal benefits”, he added.
