‘Exodus captivity concert’: Nyancho will today perform at Box Ba

By Seedy Darboe

The energetic and award-winning afro manding artist, Nyancho, is set to perform this Friday his much-awaited ‘Exodus captivity concert’ live at Brikama Box Ba mini-stadium.

His posters and flyers could be seen all-over the towns – as artist singer and dancer and eloquent afro manding dominates in the lips of the public.

Nyancho told The Voice:

“This concert is going to be one of the best and biggest in the Gambia and the world at large if you want to see dancing with all styles and moves come this Friday at Bax Ba where we will make history. I tell you when it comes to dancing and singing, I am one of the best throughout the Gambia, although at first place Nyacho music was not pleased by his family members as they want Nyancho to venture into skillful job training, like carpentering, plumbing, welding, etc. But all this was turndown by Nyncho because of the love he has for dancing and music before realization of his mother and family and friends to show love to his music.”

The Bakau-born music scene started as dancer with a group Rough Niggaz and later started established J.J.C Dance Group in which he trained so many young rappers.

In 2013, Nyancho released his debut single entitled ‘Mbang Wuleng kay’ which was followed by ‘Apachaky’ and Dinding nyongho’ in 2014 which made him a Center of Discussion in the Gambia’s Music industry.

He further stated that when it comes to fans in the country, he has conquered the whole country with his fan base and every big town or most of the small town or villages, Nyancho has a fan base and most of these were even created before his knowledge because of the love they have for him and his music.

Nyancho also focuses more on his Intros and that’s where his common adage ‘Apachaki makangho long'(laughs) and more Mandinka expressions would come in.

He is unique around his beat (traditionally percussed fusion) that depicts his originality as a Gambian Singer, Rapper, and Dancer & Choreographer.  Unlike other Gambian Rappers, Nyancho detests studio dynamites and uses his natural voice and energy.

Nyancho and his fan base including his manager are calling on everybody to come and grace this wonderful unforgettable reminiscence with them.   BAKAU SOJARI KAMBANO!!!🔥🔥🔥
