The prayers followed government’s announcement to reopen worship places on late Thursday.

Though worshippers are urged to always wear facemask and wash their hands before entering any mosques for worship, and to each come with their prayer mat. All worship places are urged to go to mosques 15 minutes before praying time and as well as sermons to hold for 15 minutes.

Tens of thousands of Muslim worshippers on Friday gathered for congregational prayers across the country. The worshippers expressed joy to resume worshipping session in mosques as they followed the new guidelines.

The worshippers welcomed reopening of worshipping places especially mosques. They said they have missed good number of Friday’s congregational prayers – which is one the Faith’s prayers obliged on every well and bona-fide Muslim.

The reopening comes a day before Muslims around the World was preparing to observe “YamulAshura” held Saturday 29 August.
