Responding to the rumour about coalition between APRC and NPP, the deputy spokesperson of the opposition party – APRC has said without mince words that his party has never enter into any coalition agreement with the National People’s Party

Dodou Jah in his words told a local radio: “I want to make this very clear, which many people are talking about, more especially the supporters of the National People’s Party that the APRC party has already agreed a coalition with their newly formed political party.

He disputed it saying “I can tell you that if we as an opposition party formed a coalition with any political party in this country that will not come as a surprise to anyone because we will be the first to come and announce it to the public.”

“It is the NPP who are currently using our name that we have agreed to form a coalition with them. Yes, we have had series of meetings with them but I still inform you that we never agree to form a coalition government with the newly formed National People’s Party (NPP). So, if the NPP are saying such they are just saying it out of their own.”

He added that an agreement to form a coalition with them is never the case.

He went on that “We are not looking for supporters to bring in to our party. We are currently having one of the largest supports base in the country. So, it is the NPP who are currently busy looking for people to join the party. This is why they are using our name saying we have already agreed to form a coalition with them.”
