Gambia’s Covid-19 case rises to 22 as new 2 cases registered

A top official at the Ministry of Health yesterday informed the reporters in the Ministry daily COVID-19 press briefing that the country has now registered another 2 new positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 bringing the total to 22 cases.

Buba Darboe, in an update on behalf of the Health Minister Dr Ahmadou Lamin Samateh said the man and woman tested positive for coronavirus on Monday after been quarantined for returning from theneighboring country, Senegal.

“As of today Monday, 11th May, 2020 we have registered 2 new confirmed laboratory cases of corona virus bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 22. Both newly confirmed cases a Male and Female have been quarantined for recently returning into the country from Senegal,” he said
