375 Students to Benefit D1.5M from BFoTG

A number of 375 students within the greater Banjul Area are to benefit from D1.5 million items courtesy from a Belgian friend of The Gambia’s humanitarian gesture BFoTG.

And the schools expected to benefit include, Bakoteh Annex Lower Basic School, Bakoteh Proper Lower Basic School, Bakoteh Upper Basic School, Nyodema Nursery School, St. Therese Lower and Upper Basic Schools all in region one of Kanifing Municipality, Siffoe Lower Basic School, Jambanjelly Nusrery and Upper Basic Schools, New Yundum Lower Basic School and Health Center.

Patrick de Vos they are doing this for the past fifteen (15) years in order to contribute their part the development of The Gambia more especially to improve the livelihood of the future leaders of this great country, The Gambia.

“We are really grateful to all the schools in the country we are sponsoring for their efforts in making sure we deliver the students sponsor’s items to them without any hindrance,” he said.

He called on the beneficiary institution to make the best use of the items so that their sponsors back home in Belgium can continue offering sponsorship packages to The Gambian children for good.

According Patrick, his organization is sponsoring over 375 students ranging from Nursery School to Senior Secondary School institutions within Greater Banjul Area and West Coast Region.

He said they commenced the distribution of the sponsors students educational item at Siffoe Lower Basic School, Bakoteh Annex Lower Basic School and Jambanjelly Nursery School respectively.
