CLMSD donates Cleansing Materials to Soma Major Health Center

Center for Leadership and Management for Sustainable Development (CLMSD) a non-governmental Organization and not-for- profit social development has donated cleansing materials to Soma major health centre in Lower River Region.

Jobarteh Fofana, the Founder said the donation is a demonstration of his organization’s unwavering commitment and dedication to contribute to the development of the country in complementing government efforts and bringing difference in communities.

Mr. Jobarteh said the donation was aimed to improve the sanitary and hygiene condition at the ward, noting that the decision was underpinned by the fact that maternity ward is every newborn baby’s first point of entrance into the journey of new life.

“Hence it is essential to keep the environment clean and hygienic to enhance healthier growth and development of new born,” he said.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Nurse in Charge, Alieu Sowe expressed appreciation to the donors on behalf of the management of the health facility for the gesture and assured the donor that the items would be put to good use to improve the sanitary condition of the ward.
