Megabank (Gambia) Limited on Tuesday rewarded the first batch of winners in its ongoing Mega Saver Promo during a draw ceremony held at the bank’s Kairaba Avenue Head Office.
Customers won prizes including a Tobaski ram, a 50-inch smart television and a microwave oven as part of the initiative aimed at promoting savings culture and rewarding customer loyalty.
The promotion followed a deposit mobilization campaign conducted between October 2025 and March 2026.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Managing Director of Megabank Gambia Limited, Tresor Bongombe, said the campaign recorded strong participation from customers across the bank’s branches.
He described the event as a significant milestone and commended customers for the trust and confidence shown in the institution.
“The Mega Promo Campaign was introduced as part of our commitment to promoting a strong savings culture while giving back to our customers for their trust and confidence in Megabank,” Bongombe said.
He added that the draw demonstrated the bank’s commitment to transparency, fairness and customer satisfaction.
Bongombe also thanked customers, staff, partners and stakeholders for contributing to the success of the campaign and reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to delivering rewarding banking services.
Megabank’s Head of Consumer and Commercial Banking, Phillipa Cole, says the Mega Promo Campaign forms part of the bank’s 2025/2026 deposit mobilization drive aimed at attracting new customers, reactivating dormant accounts and encouraging existing customers to increase savings.
She said the promotion officially began in October 2025 and allows customers who maintain and grow their deposits to qualify for prizes.
According to Cole, only incremental deposits qualify for the promotion and eligible funds must remain in accounts for a minimum of three months in line with campaign guidelines.
She said the first official draw reflected the bank’s commitment to transparency and equal opportunity for all qualifying participants.
Cole encouraged customers to continue banking with Megabank and maintain qualifying balances to benefit from the promotion.
