Police Ladies produced a commanding performance in the GFF Women’s First Division League on Sunday, bouncing back from their 2-0 defeat to Immigration with a 6-0 demolition of Yakarr in Week 11 fixtures.
Hawa B. Sanneh starred for the champions, scoring four goals to spearhead her team’s emphatic victory. Jabou Jobarteh and Nyima Sanneh also found the net, rounding off a dominant display that highlighted Police Ladies’ determination and attacking prowess.
In Kabakel, Brikama United secured a 1-1 draw against Red Scorpion in a tightly contested match. Betty Sah put Brikama United ahead in the 10th minute, only for Vilma Nhaga Badjeta to equalize in the 74th minute, earning Red Scorpion a crucial point.
The league standings remain tightly contested. Berewuleng continues to lead with 25 points, followed by Red Scorpion with 23 points and TMT with 22 points, setting the stage for a thrilling title race in the remaining fixtures.
