Former Audit Staff’s Murder Case Adjourned.

Justice Ebrima Jaiteh Tuesday adjourned the murder case of former staff of the National Audit Office (NAO), OusmanJarju due to the absence of the accused persons and their defense counsels. 

It would be recalled that Jarju was killed around Palma Rima on the 8th of September 2021.  

Lawyer Omar Suso, representing accused persons: HadimJeng, Muhammed Njie, and Muhammed Touray plus the fourth unnamed accused person who is presently at large.

The case was mentioned in court at 10am but because the defense council together with his clients were not presentin court at the time, the judge had to adjourn the case to20th of November 2023 at 11am for continuation of the case.  

“The accused persons in custody at mile II are absent and the defense counsel at NALA is also absent I would adjourn the case for the interest of Justice,” said Justice Jaiteh.  

Counsel F. Drammeh appeared for the state and the case was adjourned to the 20th of November 2023.
