Gambian international and forward Ali Sowe scored his 10th goal of the season but wasn’t enough to secure the three points for Ankaragucu in the Turkish top flight.
Sowe, who found the target for the third match in a row scored after 80 minutes but in second place, Fenerbahce scored twice in the last minute to win 2-1.
Elsewhere, Abdoulie Jallow scored a belter as Metz closed the gap on the second and final automatic promotion spot in the French Ligue 2 with a comprehensive 3-0 defeat of Bordeaux on Saturday.
Jallow opened the scoring for Metz, who is third, in the 49th minute and they’re now just a single point adrift of Bordeaux in second.
Assan Ceesay scored after 29 minutes to give Lecce the lead at home to bottom-place Sampdoria but Spanish forward Jesse Rodriquez came off the bench to score the equalizer and ensured a share of the spoils in the Italian Serie A. Lecce is now five points clear of the drop zone with eight matches remaining.
