Five Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation (SSHFC) staff are currently charged to the Gambia High Court for different counts of offence which include conspiracy and felony, abuse of office, corrupt practices, official corruption, obtaining goods by false pretences among others.
The five accused included Amie Sarr – 1st accused, Modou K Sarr – 2nd accused; Caroline Siga Sarr – 3rd accused; Andrew Demba and Alajie Fatty 4th, and 5th accused respectively.
The accused were charged with thirty-nine (39) counts of offence. Their different counts of offence and particulars are as follows:
