Dodou Kassa and Co case, Counsel seeks for an Adjournment

Counsel Kaddy Camara has sought an adjournment in the ongoing trial of Dodou Kasa Jatta and co case before Principal Magistrate Omar Jabang of Kanifing Magistrates’ Court.

When the matter was called a letter of an adjournment from Counsel Kaddy Camara was raised and Commissioner Abdoulie Sanneh who claimed that he was not served with the said letter objected to it.

He went on to plead to the court for the continuation of the testimony of PW1 but his plead was been rejected at the court.

However, prosecutor A. Sanneh further pleaded to the court for the bail of Dodou Kasa Jatta and co to be revoked thus Muhammed Jallow, Pa Modou Jatta, and Mam Ngorr Ceesay were absent in the court.

The presiding Magistrate Omar Jabang at this moment ordered the accused persons to inform their colleagues to appear in the court in the next sitting, noting that if any of the accused persons is absent he shall invoke their bail. The matter was adjourned to 12th April for continuation. Meanwhile, Dodou Kasa Jatta, Amadou Faye, Modou J. Jallow, Amadou Jallow, Mahammed Jallow, Salihena Conteh, Sory Camara, Lamin Samura, Pa Lamin Janneh, Alieu Sainey Sanyang , Pa Modou Jatta , Lamin Saho , Lamin Jammeh , Muhammed Faal , Lamin Saho , Momodou Gassama , Alpha Camara , LaminSillah , Mass Susso , Omar Camara , ModouSalieu Jallow , Baba Sarr , Ousman Ceesay ,Ebrima Daffeh , Ebrima Mboob ,Alieu Jallow , Mam Ngorr Ceesay , Muhammed Davies , Pa Ali Jammeh and Adala Ndow on the 1st December 2022 at Bakau in the Kanifing municipality conspired amongst themselves to commit a felony with rioting and they were charged with seven counts of conspiracy and felony.
