The alleged murderer of one Khalipha Colley, Ousman Sowe recently appeared before Justice Sherriff B. Tabally of the Brikama High Court.
Ousman Sowe who is accused of stabbing one Khalipha Colley to death last year at Kartong Village, Kombo South District in West Coast Region is standing trial of murder contrary to section 187 of the Criminal Code Cap 10:01 Volume 3 ,Revised Laws of The Gambia 2009 and punishable under section 188.
According to the charge sheet filed by the state prosecutor before the court revealed that the accused Ousman Sowe on the 25th December 2021 at Jatta Kunda, Kartong village, Kombo South District unlawfully caused the death of Khalipha Colley by stabbing him on his neck, thereby committed an offense.
During the proceedings, the state counsel R.Duanda pleaded to the court to amend the charge sheet before she pleaded for an adjournment which was granted by the presiding judge before the case was adjourned to 19th January 2023 for plea taking
