Karamba Bojang a narcotic Officer attached to Bijilo Scientific Unit on Wednesday 16th November 2022 testified in the ongoing drug case involving Omar Camara.
The case ongoing at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court is presided over by Magistrate Agi Bintou Faal.
PW5, Karamba Bojang in his testimony told the court that the accused Omar Camara was taken to his office where he extracted the sample of the suspected drug labeled 198/2020 .
“The sample of the suspected drug was tested at the Lab and it was confirmed to be cannabis “, PW5 stated.
Prosecutor Sanna Camara pleaded to the court to admit the analytical report as an exhibit, as cited in section 3 of the Evidence Act.
However, the presiding Magistrate A. B. Faal granted the plea of prosecutor S. Camara and admitted the analytical report as exhibit p5 before adjourning the case to the 7th of December 2022.
