Jambur Village Woman Facing Trial for Trespass

Yasin Bah a native of Jambur village, is standing trial for trespass on Wednesday 26th October 2022, and appeared before Magistrate Isatou Dabo, the principal Magistrate of the Brikama Magistrates’.

According to the particular offence filed before the court alleged that Yasin Bah on the 11th October 2022 at Brikama Daru Hairu in the West Coast Region in the Republic of the Gambia entered into the premises of Home Digital FM with the intent to intimidate, insult, and to annoy Alieu Faal.

The charge sheet was read to the accused person in the language she understood and she pleaded not guilty.

However, Inspector Kemo Y. Manneh, the police prosecuting officer, urged the court to grant the accused bail before he pleaded for an adjournment.

Magistrate Isatou Dabo granted his plea and asked the accused to pay a bail of D50,000 with a Gambian grantor residing in the West Coast Region.

The case was adjourned to the 1st of November 2022.
