7 Sierra-Leonian Nationals were charged for attempting to set the house ablaze

Seven Sierraleonian nationals are standing trial on a charge of trespass for attempting to set ablaze the house of one Yassin Bah.

The seven nationals who are all residing in the Kombo South settlement of Siffoe village are, Abdouraham Conteh, Cherno Camara, Abdoulie Kaloko, Abubacarr Kanou, Abou F. Sonko, Muhammed Wurry, and Ebrima Camara.

Police investigators said the incident happened on October 10 at Brikama Bojang Kunda when the accused persons unlawfully entered the premises of Yassin Bah and unlawfully attempted to set her house ablaze.

Police prosecutor, Inspector Kemo Manneh pleaded with the court to order the accused persons to deposit their residential cards as investigators continue to mount an investigation into the matter.

His application was granted and the accused persons were each granted bail for ten thousand dalasi.
