The Gambia National Under-23 team (Scorpions) has continued to hone their skills at the Independence Stadium in Bakau ahead of the double-legged qualifiers against the Stallions of Burkina Faso later this month.

The Gambia’s team under the guidance of Coach Abdou Jammeh (T-boy) played some preparatory test games to know their strengths and weaknesses before the Burkina Faso match.

The Gambia U-23 team will play its first leg tie in Cotonou on the 24 September, where Burkina Faso will host her home match, while The Gambia will take her home match to Morocco a few days later.

Coach Abdou Jammeh (T-Boy) is expected to select a final list of players to represent The Gambia in these qualifiers that he hopes will end up qualifying the country to the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France next year.
