Abdou Guiteh to Gambian musicians: I am willing to collaborate with any artist

Abdou Guiteh Secka, Senegalese Mbalax star, has offered commitment to collaborate with any Gambian musician, as he arrived in the country to release his thirteen music album dedicated to a Gambian-Harvard trained, Lamin Ann Mbye.

Guiteh, 43, said at a news conference that: “I am willing to collaborate with any Gambian artist in producing music so that they will all achieve what he has achieved in the music industry.”

“Senegal is not their only republic for me, but also Gambia, Mali, Mauritania, and Guinea. These countries speak the same language with them , understands what they say  as well as feel their songs. Therefore, should be recognized and included in whatever they do,” he added.

Meanwhile, he said: “I have released 12 albums, and this new one I am about to release will be my thirteen albums. In the album I am to release, the first song is dedicated to a Gambian citizen Lamin Mbaye who graduated from the Harvard and live in the United States.

“It will not only stop with the relationship I share with him but these kinds of citizens are reference to the society and humanity and so therefore they should be well recognized and praise of their good deeds, so that the children will know that they have support and role models and this is why we are here,” he said.

Abdoulie Mendy, said Abdou Guiteh drove to The Gambia to release his new song dedicated to “our Gambian brother.  This shows the love he has for Gambians therefore he should be supported and loved.”

“In his new album there are a total number of 10 songs but this number can increase because the album is yet to be released. Until the album is out we cannot give you a definitive number of track and the track is disposable at all international level iTunes, Amazon , Google play, and on Apple music,” he added.
