Uchee Zamani Uche, Gambian rapper and producer is set to release a new music album titled ‘King of My City’ on 18 June 2022.
The 26-year-old rapper started his music career as a producer back in 2017 and sings in English, Mandinka, Wolof and Pidgin languages.
Uchee as he is fondly known, produced uncountable hits music with many fans and already one of the lead musicians in The Gambia.
Many renowned Gambian artists already lined up to perform at the launching of this his latest music among them are MisJobiz, Attack, ST The Gambian dream and many other upcoming Artists. “Releasing King of My City, I felt happy because this is another side of me that Gambian hasn’t seen,” he said.
According to him the songs will be accessable in all platforms such as iTunes, Audiomack, Apple music, Google music Telegram, Instagram and many other platforms.
Uchee in the past has collaborated with many upcoming Gambian Artist and “I am willing to work with more Artists and give support to them in the production of music.
Like other musicians, Uchee has faced lots of challenges since started his music career in 2017 due to the fact that his parents are non-Gambians.
Representative of the Marshall entertainment said: Uchee is the game changer of Afromusic because he is very talented in production and music and this is his mega show so people should come and support.”
In 2018, he worked on Jizzle’s Debut EP which later won Album of The Year at the WMA Gambia and also Song of The Year etc. He is also nominated for Producer of the Year since then to date. He has worked with Artists like, TEE, Samba Peuzzi (Senegalese), BM Jaay (Senegalese), Hussain Dada, Chanta, Attack . He also produced the most-streamed song from Gambia in 2020 Pull Up by TEE feat.
Uchee is set to explore his singing ability on his debut EP titled, King Of My City a 6 track EP with only one feature from Attack.
