Steve Trawally scores fifth league for Ajman

Scorpions’ striker, Bubacarr ‘Steve’ Trawally netted his fifth goal of the season by scoring two goals for Ajman Club during their 4-3 home win over Al-Ittihad Kalba in their week-16 fixture of the Arabian Gulf League played at the Ajman Stadium on Saturday.

The 26-year-old scored in each half from the penalty spot to help inspire Ajman to collect the vital maximum point over Al-Ittihad Kalba.

Steve Trawally as he fondly called scored both penalties for his side in the 45+7 minute of the first half and 90 minute of the second half.

Muhammed Firas Ben Al Arbi and Leandro Spadacio scored the two goals for Ajman in the 61 and 62 minutes of the game.

Meanwhile, Peniel Mlapa two goals in the 51 and 68 minutes and Jhord Bayron Garces Moreno goal in the 80 minute was not enough for Kalba to restore purity in the game.

The result moved Bubacarr Trawally and his Ajman side to 10th position in the table with 22 points, leveling with Al Nasr and Al Wasl while Al-Ittihad Kalba sits 10th position with 18 points after 15 games.
