Lola Keita on Wednesday appeared before the Kanifing Magistrate Court presided over by Magistrate Tamara Chaw for the offense obtaining money by false pretense.When the charge shee of his offense was read to him, he pleaded not guilty of the offense. He was granted bail in the sum of D87,500.00.
According to particulars of his offense Lola Keita on the month of November 2020, at Serrek
unda Market he, by False Pretense and with intend to defraud obtained the sum of D87,500.00 (eighty seven thousand five hundred dalasis) from Alagie Fatty with the pretext that he will purchase a motor vehicle for him from Europe, which representation is false.
Meanwhile, the case has been adjourned to 30th November, 2021. ASP Sanyang represented IGP.
