Jammeh in exile campaigns for Mama Kandeh, wants him to get rid of present system

Exile former president Yahya Jammeh from his abode is campaigning for Honorable Mama Kandeh as he urged Gambians to vote for Mamma Kandeh to get rid of President Adama Barrow’s government.

Speaking at a GDC-APRC rally in Farafenni through a telephone address, ex-president Jammeh promised that Kandeh and his alliance will end insecurity and electricity problem if Kandeh is voted into office in December.

“By the Grace of the Almighty Allah within four years we would have develop The Gambia faster than a rocket because I know why. Within twelve months you will forget about insecurity and electricity problem, school fees because you know me. You remember in 1994 when I stood in Farafenni and said you will get electricity they didn’t believe and I did it,” he said.

“An alliance between me and Mamma Kandeh will make the best alliance The Gambia has ever seen. I want all of us as Gambians, not tribe, a patriotic Gambians who want development to unite and get rid of the system to bring in the system that was there for 22 years and even better now this time. I want to thank everyone that support me and Mamma Kandeh, GDC and any other patriotic party and citizens that are ready for development. Come and join the coalition and we will build The Gambia better than the three years. Remember as a united country we will build the country better than it has been,” he added.

“By the great of the Almighty Allah, I entrust honourable Mamma Kandeh to all Gambians who are patriotic, development oriented and love their country and independent. If I come back, in four years all these will happen. There will be, In Shaa Allah, free education for university. It supposed to be 2018 [and] these people who came and dismantle it. If you want progress come and join alliance and vote for the alliance for Mamma Kandeh, he will build better Gambia. I can tell by 2024 there will be free, In Shaa Allah, education not only for primary school or high school but the University of The Gambia will be free for all Gambians by the Grace of Almighty Allah,” he assured the listeners through telephone call.
