School Proprietor calls on parents to invest on children

Sarah Musa, proprietor of Sarah Kindergarten has called on parents to invest on their children. She made this call while addressing an inauguration ceremony of new playing ground in Lamin Village.

The playing ground aimed to provide enabling environment for the pupil to exercise during their leisure time. It also meant to train them to have physical strength in their tender age.

“Parents should finance their children particularly the girl-child, a girl-child is capable of becoming a professional lawyer, politicians, nurse and among other professionals,” Sarah said.

She stated that “it is important for children to have a playing ground to exercise and have fun after classes as it will make them more active and also cheer up.”

Eliza Mendy, head teacher, said the playing ground would enable the pupil to interact during physical education as well help them to developed physically. She also assured that teachers would effectively monitor the children during physical education so that they play carefully and avoid hurting one another.

One of the Parents Tremma Tamba commenting on the school: “The nursery school head has high regards for the children because even if a pupil is late to arrives the school or absent, the head teacher will call parents to confirm the reason and whereabouts of such child. The school also teaches our children effectively.” She expressed happiness for the management of Sarah’s Kindergarten for providing such facility for their children.
