The executive committee of the Gambia Action Party (GAP) has debated its 2021 presidential election candidate Lamin Bojang nude videos in his absent, official source confirmed.
“We met on Saturday to look at the video and we are doing some finding, but Mr. Bojang was not at the meeting to explain and we are waiting for him. We will hold a meeting Monday on the matter and after we will issues a statement or call for press conference,” sources said.
Bojang, a former diplomat was seen naked making fun of himself with an unidentified woman in a purported video.
However, he denied the video content. He said it is the work of the people who want to get millions of dollars from him.
Efforts by this paper to reach GAP Musa Yally Bachilly and in text message he said, he was in a meeting.
He told a local online newspaper that the party hold a press conference in the coming days to react to the nude video.
Bachilly also said that the Gambia Action Party will do everything possible in an effort to clear the name of its Presidential candidate for the 2021 election.
