A prominent Islamic scholar and preacher, Dr. Zakir Naik has recently said in an audio that western world dislike former President Yahya AJJ Jammeh because of his relationship with him [Jammeh].
According to him “whenever I meet Muslims head of states I always try to advise them on the Islamic principles. But I can say one of those leaders who have fully heeded to my teachings and advice on Islam is the former President of the Gambia Dr. Alhagie Yayah Jammeh and may God grant him paradise.”
He expressed that “because he was much closed to me and followed many of my Islamic advices, he was forced to leave his position as the President. And you know during the last 2016 presidential elections which took place in December and one month later to that he was forced to leave by a coalition.
And you know how politics work as all non-Muslims countries especially the west planned against and removed him as President of the Gambia,” he said.
The western world, he added that on daily basis they always against the Muslims nations who are very much close to the Islamic teachings and practices. He disclosed that many nations under Muslim’s leaders who are Islamic are organized a coup against them citing Turkey as an example, as many were arrested for an alleged attempt to over throw their president.
