Donman a music producer, artist and electronic DJ has released a new riddim dubbed legendary luv on Thursday held a local hotel.
The release riddim brought together various artists and DJs including Cihu Yafa, and some people from Belgium.
Donman has been in the music industry so quite a number of years and has also been contributing a lot in the music industry.
In 2018, he dropped one of the famous riddim around the world, and had dropped another one in 2019 which is basically meant for the grassroots artists.
Speaking at the event, he said the concept of this riddim is luv featuring the greatest artist in the Gambia namely Jaliba kuyateh, junior Don Neneh Jali Suso, Cihu Yaffa, Tatadindin Jobarteh, Mahaa D Hammer and Bobo Dimo noting that, this year they worked on three riddims featuring seven artist.
According to him, he composed the instrument since 2017, adding that when he released low battery, people were saying he cannot repeat history again but he was waiting for the right time to drop another boom.
He also said they will make the launching ceremony before end of the year and they are also planning on going for a tour in the urban areas.
He further said his music is a true reflection of his culture that is why most of the instrument he made most have one or two instruments from Gambia like low battery it has “Mariba” and this also has “Mariba” and “Cora” and Cora is our culture. All Gambia instruments can fit with foreign music is about the individual knowing how to mix.
Banna Team Member said: Doman is a legend in what he does and have he has a vision for the Gambia which many people do not know but in the past years he has proven himself and that is one thing that we the Gambians have to appreciate noting that, coming up with these riddims, promoting our artist, talking about luv and Gambian Dalasi that is all about Africa and Gambia as a nation.
Yafa also a Gambian artist and part of the riddim said: this is his first time working with Donman but he is looking forward to work with him life because he motivated him and working with donman, you have more experiences.
