WAFU Zone A Under-20 champions, the Young Scorpions of The Gambia, will start their title defense against Mali on 25 November after which they will play familiar opponents, Liberia two days later on 27 November and cap their group campaign against Guinea Bissau on 1 December.
The draw for the tournament was held in Conakry on Wednesday, 6 November, 2019.
The group winners and runners up go to the semis of the eight-nation competition, slated to run from 24 November to 8 December, 2019, in Guinea Conakry.
The Gambian coach, Mattar M’boge, said here on Thursday that the team will continue training at the Independence Stadium to technically prepare for the second edition of the tournament.Guinea.
