Donation of Ambulance by Some Turkish

Mr. Bulent Sener, a Turkish citizen living in Germany, together with his Turkish friends and family in Hamburg, donated a fully equipped ambulance to the Ndikiri Kunda Village Development Association and the community of Bansang, in the Central River Region (CRR).

The handing over of the ambulance has been done by the Turkish Ambassador, H.E. Ismail Sefa Yuceer, on behalf of the Turkish citizens, to the Chairman of the Ndikiri Kunda Village Development Association, Mr Musa Jallow, who represented his community at a ceremony held at the Turkish Embassy.

The ambulance, which is worth around one million Dalasis, will serve the above-referred community during emergency cases.

It came to the attention of the Embassy that many lives are lost every year in certain communities as a result of the challenges that are faced due to lack of proper transportation means to reach health facilities on time.
