July 15 Coup Attempt, difficult Day for Turkey’- Ambassador Sefa Yuceer

Turkey Ambassador Ismail Sefa Yuceer, has described July 15, 2016 coup attempt by Fetullah Terrorist Organization (feto) masterminded Fetullah Gulen, as ring leader a very difficult day for the first time in Turkey history.

“People were attacked from within by soldiers they indiscriminately killed innocent people of more than 250 who took to the street to defend Turkey by showing strong ownership of Turkey democracy and they were killed by Fetullah Terrorist organization,” he told journalists.

The July 15, 2016 coup attempt in Turkey was commemorated at the Embassy in The Gambia with a press conference at Turkey’s Embassy, the coup attempt resulted to the loss of lives of more than 250 innocent civilian and injured thousands.

Ambassador Sefa Yuceer explained that what happened on 15 July, 2016, they used state elements with security structures especially the Police and the army and their ultimate aims was to capture the state and established their order for Fetullah Gulen can be replaced as President most possibly.

“But Turkey people show a strong ownership to democracy took to the streets by the power of the President to defend the democracy, they risk their lives stand in the military vehicles and these terrorists used these vehicles in discriminately shooting at the people,” he added.

He pointed out that this event has become very tragic that the bravely and heroic resistance of people was hold by Turkey’s government that is the reason  July 15  is declared  by the government as National Unity and Democracy Day in Turkey.

“We are refreshing all our minds in this painful and tragic moment, but on the other hand we can be proud of our nation people who fought a strong ownership to democracy,” he noted.

He urged the world to be vigilant of Fetullah Terrorist Organization (feto)
