Beach Volleyball Final set to make Gambia Volleyball dreams come true

Grab your swimsuits and sunscreen, folks, because there’s going to be one exciting show on the Palma Rima beach on Sunday February 24th.

The superstar duo of Amadou Jarju and Malick Jammeh of Gamtel/Gamcel will be squaring off against Alieu Barry and Ebrima Jatta in the men final of the Gambia national beach volleyball championship sponsored by FAR Gambia limited.

If Alieu and Jatta win, that will make a record two gold medals in a row for Gambia Armed Forces as they won it in 2017, whiles Jarju and Jammeh will be looking for the first beach volleyball title in their club history after missing it to Old Jeshwang in the 2014 final.

In the women’s final GAF’s Abie Kujabie and Nyima Demba and Interior’s Fatoumatta Ceesay and Mariama Ginadou will go head to head as they battle for the right to be crown Gambia beach volleyball champions. If Kujabie and Demba wins, it will be a historic victory as it will mark their third gold medal in a row, winning it in 2014 and 2017 editions.
