President of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF), Kemo Ceesay, has joined the Supdeco University community in celebrating the achievements of its latest graduates, returning to the institution where he completed his postgraduate studies in 2024.
Ceesay attended the university’s fifth graduation ceremony on Saturday, 17 October, as guest of honour at the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Centre in Bijilo.
The ceremony brought together graduates, university officials and invited guests to mark the completion of an important stage in the students’ academic journeys.
The event also paid tribute to the late Abubakar Sidikh Sey, founder of Supdeco University, in recognition of his contribution to the establishment and development of the institution.
Ceesay’s participation held particular significance, as he graduated from Supdeco in 2024 with a Master of Science degree in Public Administration.
His return to the university provided an opportunity to reconnect with the academic community and reflect on his experience as a postgraduate student.
The graduation ceremony celebrated the academic accomplishments of the graduating class while highlighting the relationship between the university and its alumni.
Ceesay’s presence also underscored the continuing connection between Supdeco and its former students, who have gone on to assume professional and leadership roles in various sectors.
