Kenyan Premier League giants Tusker FC have completed the signing of Gambian striker Abdoulie Joof from Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) FC on a two-year contract.
The move strengthens Tusker FC’s attacking options ahead of the new season, with the club securing the services of one of The Gambia’s most prolific forwards.
Joof arrives in Kenya with an impressive goalscoring record after finishing as the top scorer in the Gambian First Division during the 2024/25 season, scoring 12 goals despite GAF FC’s relegation from the top flight.
The striker maintained his remarkable form in the 2025/26 Second Division campaign, where he scored 21 goals and provided five assists, playing a key role for GAF FC and attracting attention from clubs outside The Gambia.
His performances have now earned him a move to one of East Africa’s most established clubs, with Tusker FC hoping his goalscoring ability will boost their ambitions for domestic success and continental qualification.
Joof’s transfer adds to the growing number of Gambian players securing opportunities in foreign leagues following impressive performances at home.
