At 43, Gambian fitness enthusiast Alieu Bah, who lives in Tallinn, Estonia, has achieved a major personal milestone after completing his first-ever marathon at the Swedbank Tallinn Marathon.
Bah successfully covered the demanding 42.195-kilometre marathon distance, crossing the finish line to earn a bronze medal and mark an important achievement in his running journey.
Beyond the personal accomplishment, the race gave Bah the opportunity to proudly represent The Gambia on the international stage, carrying the national flag throughout his marathon experience.
Passionate about fitness, health and wellness, Bah says this will not be his final marathon. He plans to participate in more marathon events around the world while inspiring fellow Gambians, particularly young people, to embrace fitness, healthy living and an active lifestyle.
At 43, Bah’s achievement serves as a powerful reminder that age is no barrier to pursuing new challenges, staying fit and achieving personal goals.
