Gambian international Ebrima Colley has joined Turkish Süper Lig side Konyaspor on a season-long loan from Swiss champions BSC Young Boys, with the agreement including an option for a permanent transfer.
The move marks Colley’s return to Turkish football after previously playing for Fatih Karagümrük during the 2022/23 season.
The winger began his professional career with Italian club Atalanta and went on to feature for Spezia and Hellas Verona in Serie A before joining Young Boys in Switzerland.
Colley has established himself as one of The Gambia’s leading footballers in Europe, having gained experience in Italy, Switzerland and Turkey.
He is expected to strengthen Konyaspor’s attacking options ahead of the new Turkish Süper Lig season.
