The President of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF), Lamin Kaba Bajo, has opened a five-day Elite Youth Goalkeeper Coaches’ Workshop at the National Technical Training Centre.
The programme, organised in collaboration with FIFA, aims to enhance technical capacity among youth coaches under the theme of building a strong future for young goalkeepers.
Bajo described the workshop as a significant step in football development and reaffirmed the federation’s commitment to capacity building through its CARMS initiative.
Lead instructor Alejandro Alfredo Heredia urged participants to fully utilise the training, while GFF technical officials encouraged coaches to apply the knowledge gained within their communities.
