Jokadou United booked their place in the Western Zone Final of the NBRFA Third Division Promotion Play-offs with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Spurs Youth FA in Essau.
The visitors made a dream start to the semi-final encounter when Lamin Jatta scored in the third minute to give Jokadou United an early lead.
Spurs Youth FA responded by dominating possession for long periods and creating several scoring opportunities, but were unable to break down a disciplined Jokadou United defence.
Jokadou United remained compact and organised throughout the match, successfully protecting their narrow advantage until the final whistle.
The victory maintained the team’s impressive away form, extending their perfect record on the road to six wins from six matches this season.
The result sends Jokadou United into the Western Zone Final, where they will face Essau United for a place in the Regional Final and a chance to move closer to promotion.
